Phrases of Comfort

Epitaph – Any inscription or text on a monument in memory of the person or persons interred there.
From the Latin meaning “funeral oration,” an epitaph should state something about the deceased,
or give comfort to those left behind.

An epitaph can be anything you want to say. It can be a line from a favorite song or movie. Something your loved one used to say. A quote from your favorite poet. A meaningful bible verse.

As you give thought to what you'd like to say, take a moment to visit our staff page where we've told our favorite epitaphs for inspiration.
